“It is so important to understand that addiction is a family disease. I experienced this firsthand

within my own family.  But I have also learned that through treatment and recovery you can

break the cycle.”    Tara Conner, Miss USA 2006

We hope to raise awareness that addiction is a disease and that many people go on to lead a healthy,

happy life in recovery.

in life than those who begin drinking at or after age 21 years.” CDC Factsheet Dated Jan 2014

Rise Recovery is a non-profit organization that helps teens, young adults and their family members overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol, while assisting the community through partnerships in education and prevention.

Built on the proven foundation of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP), Rise Recovery offers an expanded suite of services to meet the needs of the entire family through four core programs that include the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) Rise Education and Prevention, Rise Early Intervention and Rise Youth Leadership.

In addition to direct recovery services, Rise Recovery offers awareness presentations, youth empowerment training and community outreach to help prevent substance use. Our staff currently serves in eight local school districts, providing programs customized to individual, district, and campus needs.  We also collaborate with churches, treatment centers, the juvenile and adult justice systems, businesses, and physicians to help eliminate the stigma and shame associated with seeking help.

All direct recovery, intervention and educational opportunities are provided at no charge to participants, thus eliminating cost as a barrier to accessing services.
